I was in a pinch yesterday, searching for some makeup remover before I went to bed. I still don't know what happened to my bottle of makeup remover, but maybe it will show up (packing for winter break has got me putting things where I can't find them). Anyways, I decided to do a little research for a substitute makeup remover, something that I just had lying around. And that something was mayonnaise. I know some of you might be thinking, "Ew, I don't want to put mayonnaise on my face! That's gross!" I was a little skeptical myself, at first. But I decided, what the heck, let's try this out. And it worked wonderfully! I gently applied the mayonnaise to my eye-area, smoothed it in, and wiped it away with a soft hand towel. The mayonnaise stripped off my eye makeup pretty easily and it barely irritated my eyes. Plus, I woke up this morning with a super soft eye-area. I will definitely be using this method again! It's cheap, natural, and effective. So if you need makeup remover in a pinch (or even when you're not), I recommend mayonnaise. Try it for yourself!

I am a fan of shimmery lipsticks, so while browsing the huge selection of Revlon lip color, the Super Lustrous lipstick caught my eye. I ended up buying two colors, Just Enough Buff and Caramel Glace. The lipstick was priced around $8, but all Revlon products were buy one get one free, so that's $4 each! I really like this product, and I foresee myself collecting more colors. And with 72 colors to choose from, I'm sure there is the perfect color for everyone out there! This product is very good for the price. It is well pigmented and beautifully shimmery (but not TOO shimmery). This lipstick does need to be reapplied throughout the day, and it feathers a little, but overall I give this product a high rating. You can also find Revlon lipsticks in matte and sheer colors, so there is something for everyone. I can't wait to use some of the bolder colors I've been wanting to try out!
